Chapter 103: Little Master (Part 2)

“In addition, there are very few cars passing by here if you want to go home without a car, you can call me and I’ll pick you up.” In the end, the driver added: “Don’t worry, you are all students, I won’t ask you for a high price, just pay for a one-way trip.”

Lin Qingyin thanked the driver. After Jiang Wei paid the money, she handed the stone to the driver: “Go back and give this stone to your son, he will recover soon.”

The driver, Old Wang was stunned. He subconsciously stretched out his hand to pick up the stone. He saw some incomprehensible lines carved on it, but he didn’t know what they meant. When he raised his head again, Lin Qingyin and Jiang Wei had disappeared.

Old Wang’s mind was in chaos. His son Xiao Bao was diagnosed with acute leukemia at the end of last year. Fortunately, after three courses of chemotherapy, Xiao Bao’s condition was stabilized and they also found an appropriate bone marrow donor.

Today, happened to be the day when Xiao Bao will undergo surgery for a bone marrow transplant. Old Wang wanted to watch the moment his son came out of the surgery room. But to treat his son, he owed a lot of money, so he could only hold back his thoughts and drive outside to earn money.

Looking at the stone in his hand, Old Wang decided to put the money-making business aside and hurriedly sent the stone to his son. He felt that since the little girl could tell what happened to his son, she must be a master, and the things given by masters must be a good thing. Maybe she can save his son’s life.

Old Wang carefully put the stone in his pocket and turned around to drive into the city. There was no obstruction along the way, so he arrived at the hospital half an hour earlier than expected.

He called his wife and asked the ward number where his son was staying and hurried up. After entering the ward, Old Wang felt a pain in his heart when he looked at his son’s pale and thin face. He forcefully took out the stone with a smile and shook it in front of his son: “Xiao Bao, see what good things Dad brought you?”

Xiao Bao opened his eyes and looked at the stone, but closed his eyes due to a lack of strength. Old Wang bent down and tied the red rope on the stone around his son’s neck, and said softly: “Xiao Bao, this is given to you by a beautiful sister. She wishes you a speedy recovery!”

Xiao Bao seemed to be asleep and didn’t speak for a long time. Old Wang’s wife grabbed his arm and looked at him: “What beautiful sister?”

Old Wang quickly comforted his wife with a bulging belly and said in a low voice: “Today I drove a master, and the master gave it to me. She specially instructed me to let our son wear it.”

Old Wang’s wife didn’t say a word. She reached out and touched Xiao Bao’s forehead and covered him with a thin quilt. The couple was about to go out into the corridor to have a conversation when Xiao Bao suddenly opened his eyes and touched the stone with his non-infusion hand. Then he raised his head and smiled at his parents: “Dad, this stone is warm. My chest feels so comfortable.”

Old Wang stretched out his hand and touched the stone in surprise. It was not as cold or warm as Xiao Bao said. Xiao Bao seemed to see his father’s suspicion, pointed to the position of his chest, and said firmly: “It’s warm here, I feel very comfortable. It doesn’t feel so painful.”

Old Wang was so excited that he didn’t know what to say. He decided to give the stone to his son to give it a try, but he didn’t expect it to work so quickly: “If you’re comfortable, just get a good night’s sleep.”

“Mmm!” Xiao Bao smiled. Although his face was still pale, he looked much more energetic than before.

Old Wang reached out and held his son’s hand, only to realize that the cold little hand just now was actually warm to the touch.
