Chapter 113: Zhu Chengze (Part 1)

Speaking of this person, Lin Qingyin met him not long ago. There was a businessman named Zhang Wu in Qi City who wanted to get rich overnight. Under the guidance of Master Wang, he moved his ancestral family’s tomb to a barren land full of evil spirits. He buried the eighteen coffins of his family one by one according to the directions pointed by Master Wang.

Zhang Wu thought that he was setting up a wealth formation, but he didn’t know that it was a very vicious life-sustaining formation. Master Wang used the corpse as a carrier to turn Zhang Wu’s family’s lifespan into the essence that can nourish himself and prolong his life.

Zhang Wu did make a fortune after the formation, but within a few years, his son fell to his death inexplicably. His mother also broke a leg, his daughter was diagnosed with leukemia, and the family fell into desperation.

Fortunately, Father Zhang invited Lin Qingyin and her to help Zhang Wu break the formation. They looked for another place with good feng shui and relocate the ancestral tomb. Zhang Wu wanted to take shortcuts because of his eagerness for quick success and instant profit. In the end, not only did the accumulated wealth disappear he also lost a child. He also lost more than 30 years of life.

Wang Wufeng, who made such an evil formation, naturally would not have a good end. After the formation was broken, he was backlashed, and he felt like his whole body was being bitten by ants. He didn’t even have the strength to stand up because of the pain. Since Wang Wufeng dared to use this evil formation, he naturally thought of a way out, but he used his apprentice Zhang Zuo as a substitute.

Zhang Zuo has been serving Wang Wufeng diligently and honestly for many years, but he was not as honest as he looks. Seeing that his master had no power to resist, he looted all Wang Wufeng’s belongings, except for hundreds of thousands of cash. In addition, there were several tattered books, a stack of talisman papers, several medicine bottles, and the lacquered wooden jar needed to perform rituals. Then he burned Wang Wufeng, and the small house he lived in.

If Zhang Zuo didn’t set a fire, Wang Wufeng would eventually turn into pus and die in the end. However, Zhang Zuo was ambitious and knew how to forbear. To get what he wants, he can be as vicious as Wang Wufeng.

Lin Qingyin didn’t know much about this kind of evil spirits, but she also knew that Zhang Zuo must have coaxed Guo Chunhua to use some sorcery, and it was most likely related to the lifelike corpse.

With Zhang Zuo’s personality, he must live not far from here, and he will be able to sense that Father Zhu’s soul dissipates. He will come over soon. Lin Qingyin glanced at Zhu Chengze, who was immersed in grief, and calmly reminded him: “There is no time to waste, cremate your father’s body first.”

Zhu Chengze was a little stunned: “I don’t know if any formalities are required, but I may have to contact the funeral home first.”

Lin Qingyin rolled up her sleeves: “Don’t bother, I can help you if you don’t mind.”

Zhu Chengze didn’t understand what Lin Qingyin meant, but Guo Chunhua had figured out a lot of things in the past two years. Knowing that there might be something wrong with her husband’s corpse, she immediately agreed: “Then I will trouble Master Lin.”

“No trouble!” Lin Qingyin stood up and walked out: “Let’s go to the cemetery first.”

Guo Chunhua picked up the veiled hat on the ground and put it on her head and stepped out of the room timidly. At first sight of the sunlight outside, even with a veil blocking her face, she still subconsciously raised her arms to hide her face. She hasn’t seen the sun since she became a yin person. She was always inside the house during the day, and only dared to go out at night when no one was there to get some air. This was the first time she went out in two years.

Zhu Chengze stretched out his hand to support her bony arm. Guo Chunhua couldn’t help trembling after being touched. She hesitated for a moment and then brushed her son’s hand down: “You go and bring a shovel and a hoe, we will have to dig the grave later.”
