Chapter 133: Little Master (Part 2)

The waiter was standing on the side grilling the meat. Jiang Wei tilted his head and whispered to Lin Qingyin, then he wore gloves, put the roasted tender meat into the vegetable leaf, pour it with a little sauce, rolled it up, and sent it to Lin Qingyin’s hands.

Just as Lin Qingyin took a bite of this roll of barbecue, Jiang Wei picked up another piece and handed it to Lin Qingyin’s mouth: “Little master, this kind of beef strip is also delicious after dipping directly, try it.”

Lin Qingyin lowered her head and bit the meat in her mouth. Jiang Wei watched her eat the meat with a smile, and asked in a good mood, “Is it delicious?”

Lin Qingyin gave a thumbs up approvingly: “Little apprentice, you have become more and more tasteful in eating, you deserve to be brought out by me.”

Jiang Wei almost burst out laughing when he heard this: “Little Master, how dare you say this? When I gave you extra lessons, I took you to eat all the delicacies in the whole city.” He gently bumped his elbow to Lin Qingyin and added: “Did you forget who asked me what I had for lunch with bright eyes when they saw me?”

Lin Qingyin stuffed the barbecue in her hand into her mouth, and wiped the oil on her finger on Jiang Wei’s face: “You dare to talk about this master’s black history, I think you don’t want to live.”

Jiang Wei didn’t even hide, and after Lin Qingyin smeared his cheeks with oil, he slowly took out a wet towel and wiped it off: “If it wasn’t for me, who would help you with your homework?”

As soon as Lin Qingyin heard the word homework, Lin Qingyin was intimidated. Their department had a lot of homework. She was not afraid of doing homework, but spending all her time on homework was too much of a hindrance to her fortune-telling career.

Thinking that she still had three years of homework to do in the future, Lin Qingyin’s attitude changed immediately. She snatched the wet towel from the little apprentice’s hand and wiped it for him twice, and said confidently: “I have many things to do, how can you make terms when serving the master? Did you know that by doing this you can be beaten to death in the past?”

Jiang Wei smiled: “Isn’t it the first time for me to be an apprentice for someone? So I’m not skilled in business!”

Lin Qingyin was proud: “I am different, I often work as a master for others, and I have rich experience!”

Jiang Wei: “… …”

Jiang Wei: “Hmph!!!”

Seeing Jiang Wei’s sour expression, Kang Hanyu, who was sitting opposite couldn’t help shivering again. He has never been superstitious, but today, he felt that it was not a good day to treat others. At this time, just hearing the other’s party hum was too scary for him. Can these guys have a good relationship and don’t scare innocent onlookers like them?

Lin Qingyin, who was eating barbecue, looked up and saw Kang Hanyu’s pitiful, helpless and desperate eyes, and blurted out the habitual language: “Do you want to do fortune-telling?”

Kang Hanyu’s eyes widened in horror and replied: “I don’t!!!”

After eating the barbecue, Kang Hanyu took An Meijuan and ran away as if he was relieved after paying the bill. Lin Qingyin wanted to go back to the dormitory with Chen Zinuo and the others, but Jiang Wei directly grabbed her wrist: “Little Master, let’s go out and walk around.”

Under the street lamps, the city was full of traffic, with noisy sounds and turbid smells.

Lin Qingyin and Jiang Wei took a leisurely walk on the sidewalk. Cultivators can use aura to digest the food in the stomach, but Lin Qingyin thinks that walking around to digest food was a very interesting thing. She has no seven emotions and six desires when she lived for thousands of years in the past. Her life has no color, unlike others. Even if she can fly and live forever, she found it boring.

Until she failed in ascension and was directly struck to death by lightning.

Looking at the shadows of the two of them under the street lamp, Jiang Wei couldn’t help turning his head to look at the top of Lin Qingyin’s head, wanting to reach out and touch her hair.

Counting it, the two have known each other for three years. At that time, Lin Qingyin was still a high school girl, and she was thin and weak, with a childish look on her face.

When Jiang Wei first met her, he felt that he was more grateful and respectful of Lin Qingyin. Every time he saw her, he wanted to worship her. After being together for a long time, he felt that she was not aloof at all, but like the neighbor’s little sister, who was greedy for food, didn’t like to do homework, and couldn’t walk forward when she saw popsicles. She was so cute that people wanted to hug her and rub her head twice.

Later, Lin Qingyin’s studies were on the right track and he was also admitted as the graduate student. The two rarely saw each other except for bickering on WeChat. Sometimes when Jiang Wei came back from vacation to see Lin Qingyin, he had to wait until dinner to talk to her.

Jiang Wei felt a little lost at that time, feeling that the distance between himself and the little master was big. However, when Fatty Wang wanted to take a vacation and there was no one to serve her, the little master leave this job to Jiang Wei without letting him to even think about it. Jiang Wei was forced to work full-time.

At that time, Jiang Wei was complaining, but he was happy in his heart. In the past few years, there have been countless people who have done fortune-telling with the little master. There were people of all ages, and there were a few rich second-generation handsome guys. How many people were jumping to get into the eyes of the little master? But the little master still thinks of him first when she needed someone, so Jiang Wei felt that he was very special in the little master’s heart.

In fact, at that time, Jiang Wei didn’t expect to work as an assistant. When he meet up with the little master, it was only to eat and drink or bicker. Jiang Wei couldn’t help teasing Lin Qingyin in different ways. He found it very interesting to see the little master stomping her feet angrily.

After a long time of happiness, he couldn’t help following her. Although Jiang Wei knew that he was not as good as her, he didn’t feel at ease letting Lin Qingyin go wherever alone. It seemed that in his heart, she was always in need of protection like other little girls. He doesn’t know when this feeling changed. He only found out one day that his heart beat fast when he looked at the little master. He couldn’t help laughing when he saw her laughing. Jiang Wei knew then that he liked the little master.

This kind of love is like a brook, flowing silently in his heart, but when he discovered it, his heart had already sunk.

But he didn’t say anything, he only watched the little master. Jiang Wei didn’t want to disturb the little master because of his feelings. He felt that he had enough patience to wait for the little master’s enlightenment.

But Jiang Wei didn’t expect that he would encounter such an oolong right after he made up his mind. When he saw the little master holding another man’s hand, the pain seemed to be like a volcanic eruption. The pain pierced his heart and cracked his lungs. As if something wanted to rush out of his soul. At that moment, he had only one thought in his mind, no one could take her away from him.

Although it was an oolong, Jiang Wei realized that his feelings for the little master were deeper than he imagined. He didn’t know whether he should continue to wait. What if the little master likes someone else in the future?

Just thinking of that scene made him feel so much pain in his heart that he wished to destroy the world.

“Little master, have you ever considered falling in love?” Jiang Wei finally raised his hand and rubbed Lin Qingyin’s hair: “What kind of boy do you like?”

When Lin Qingyin heard this question, she stopped walking and a trace of confusion flashed in her eyes: “I don’t know, I don’t even know what it feels like to feel in love?”

Hearing this answer, Jiang Wei didn’t know whether to breathe a sigh of relief or worry. He was silent for a long time before saying: “You love it when you feel very happy when you see him and feel very lost when you don’t see him. You think of him before going to bed, and you think of him first when you wake up.”

Short Play:

Lin Qingyin: According to what you said, I think I do!

Jiang Wei looked at the little master with expectant eyes: Is it me? Is it me?

Lin Qingyin counted her fingers: I love Cantonese-style roast goose, Hong Kong-style barbecued pork, Korean-style barbecue, Chongqing hot pot, Chengdu skewers……

Jiang Wei: … …

    1. What’s up with the short plays? Why are they separated from the rest of the usual conversations?

Also, Jiang Wei is really starting to push my buttons. He’s quickly becoming like one of those OP MLs that are often overglorified and romanticized despite clearly having red flags such as being toxic, to say the least. Entertaining the thought of if I can’t have her no one can, destroying the world and all. Urk.
