Chapter 88: The Murderer (Part 3)

Because of his guilty conscience, his psychological defense was very fragile, and he easily believed what Gu Zhisang said.

Liang Youkang thought he hid his emotions very well, but he didn’t know that in the eyes of Gu Zhisang and the others, his pale and strange-looking face gradually distorted, and was infected with cruelty.

Liang Youkang: “What do the two police officers want to ask me? I don’t know who killed Liu Mouxin…”

Before he finished speaking, he heard the colder voice of the young female police officer interrupted him.

After hearing what the other party said, his pupils trembled.

“It’s you.”

Gu Zhisang said firmly: “You killed your ex-wife.”

Liang Youkang’s hand, which was secretly hidden behind his back, suddenly swung forward, and his face was ferocious.

He held a copper candlestick holder in the room and was about to smash Gu Zhisang’s head with it.

At the critical moment, Gu Zhisang raised her hand with a frown, and a blank yellow talisman paper was attached to her palm to prevent Liang Youkang’s skin from dirtying her hand. Then she punched directly the man’s jaw.

With a crisp sound of ‘click’, Liang Youkang’s jawbone was directly dislocated, and he wailed in pain and fell backward on a coffee table full of garbage.

The things on the coffee table were smashed to the ground with a bang. As he wailed, he was kicked twice by Gi Liaochan who stood up in anger.

“What the hell do you want to do? Are you guilty and attacking the police? Or are you going to kill people and run away? You are very brave to attack the police, be honest!”

Although she and Gu Zhisang were not serious police officers, the Special Spiritual Department was also an inspection department.

Looking at Liang Youkang’s unexpected ruthlessness just now, even if ordinary people can react and dodge, they will be hit in other places.

If the person who came was not Gu Zhisang but other ordinary police officers, he might succeed!

Gu Zhisang slightly squinted her eyes, and her eyes were cold as if he was looking at a dead person: “Achan, close his mouth, I still have something to ask him.”

“Okay.” Gi Liaochan pressed Liang Youkang’s crooked chin and twisted it mercilessly, and Liang Youkang immediately let out another pig-like scream of pain.

He was sweating all over as if he had just been pulled out of the water, and the lower half of his face was numb.

Gu Zhisang threw up the ancient coins, which landed steadily in her palm. Then she glanced at him and said:

“Liang Youkang, born in 1984, you are 38 years old this year. The Yang point on your face is swollen and congested, and your soul is black with blood-red evil power, which means that you killed your wife 3 months ago, brutally killed her, and chose to dump her body.”

“From your marriage palace, I see that you are a beast on weekdays, you are not good to your wife, and your marriage is full of cold treatment and violence. You have a dull personality, hold grudges, and think that there are so many unfair things in this world. It is your fate due to your earth and fire signs.”

Gu Zhisang sneered and said: “I can reasonably guess that you are usually the object of ridicule by your coworkers. Whenever this happens, your heart is full of cruelty, and you want to stab them to death, but you dare not.”

“You dare not fight back against those strong coworkers, but you go home and drink a little and show off your strength to your wife at home.”

Gi Liaochan showed disgust: “What kind of big waste!”

“In addition to the relationship between husband and wife, I can see that the cause and effect of your choice to attack your deceased wife is… because she cheated?”

Seeing the reason why the woman was murdered was shifted, Gu Zhisang couldn’t help but frown.

There was more than one cheating object?

She vaguely felt that something was wrong, and immediately made three hexagrams. After getting the results, she felt angry:

“She didn’t cheat, she was forced.”

“Because you found out about this, you killed her. But you knew from the beginning to the end that she was not willing, is that right?”

Because of the changes in his body during this period, Liang Youkang lived in resentment, fear, and pain for his deceased wife every day.

His mind had been tortured by resentment to the point of being unconscious. When he heard Gu Zhisang’s words, his brain was like a ball of paste, and he couldn’t think at all. He was only left with madness and hatred.

“She cheated on me, she deserves to die! I should have killed that bitch long ago!!”

“I can kill her once. Even if I become a ghost, I’m not afraid of her revenge. I’ll smash her to death! I’ll drown her…”

Gu Zhisang closed her eyes and stretched out her palm to hold Liang Youkang’s head.

The curse he blurted out just now was a disguised admission of his crime, admitting that he did see something and knew that his deceased wife was not willing at the time, but he still killed the poor woman.

Gu Zhisang felt sick when she thought of the truth of the matter.

She was too lazy to waste time with Liang Youkang and mercilessly used the “soul search” that had been listed as a forbidden technique in the metaphysical world for hundreds of years. She forcibly looked at Liang Youkang’s memory.

As her power touched his soul, Liang Youkang’s eyes suddenly opened wide, and his whole face was distorted with pain. When Gu Zhisang entered his soul and memory, the first thing she felt was not his memory, but a tangible resentment from another person.

The resentment was damp and cold, with a monstrous hatred, and it wanted to drag Liang Youkang to hell. It was this extremely strong resentment of the water ghost that led to a series of changes in Liang Youkang and Gangster Zhao.

Gu Zhisang already knew who it was. It was the poor woman who died unjustly and was branded as a whore. It was the dead woman who was thrown into the deep lake after her tragic death, enduring the insects, fish, and crabs drilling into her soul and gnawing at her bones.

Feeling this tangible resentment, Gu Zhisang did not hesitate to wrap it with her soul power. The next second, she was dragged into the deep water, and the suffocating feeling of the lake water spreading over her chest and lungs, and the painful feeling of being eaten by flesh and blood were tangible.

If some of the masters with weaker abilities and tolerance were suddenly subjected to such strong empathy and negative emotions, they would probably fail on the spot, be severely injured, and attacked by the Yin energy, but Gu Zhisang did not frown.

Soon the empty pain receded, and she saw many things buried under the resentment.

She was not called “that restless woman” or “Liang Youkang’s wife”, but Liu Mouxin.

Although her life was hard and not rich, and her husband had a strange temper and went crazy when he drank too much, she had a very good and sensible child, which was her only comfort in this boring world.

Her husband loved alcohol and was an ordinary worker. Most of his monthly salary was spent by himself, leaving little for her and her son.

Although Liu Mouxin had no education, she wanted to go out to work and wanted her very frugal son to live a better life.

But every time she mentioned it, her husband would say to her with a sinister look:

‘Why are you so restless and have to go out to attract bees and butterflies?’

Over time, she only dared to set up a stall at the night market when her husband was not around. Even so, her gentleness, good popularity, and even good looks all became the accusation of “not being a good wife” in the mouths of the villagers. She just said a few more words to her male friends but was made as dirty jokes by the shameless hooligans in the village, which became the reason for being pointed at behind her back.

For this reason, she was beaten and scolded many times. Whenever she saw her husband’s red eyes, she was very tired and cried and asked her husband why he couldn’t listen to her explanation, but Liang Youkang would always say:

‘If you don’t go out and mess around, what will the villagers say? It’s because you are restless!’

So when Liu Mouxin was suddenly insulted, she collapsed completely. She didn’t know the person who bullied her at all and didn’t understand why she had to suffer so much. Liu Mouxin was determined to call the police, but the man took the video and threatened her:

‘Do you know what my background is here? My family is rich, powerful, and well-known in Hunan Province. But you want to sue me? See if you can win the case. See which lawyer dares to help you. Who will believe that I, a successful man with a career and money, want to force you, a village woman? See who will believe you.’

  1. How messed up is that! Since there was a video of Liu Mouxin, but Gangster Zhao was impotent, I suspected that it was either falsified or she was forced, but it’s just messed up that she was not only forced, but also killed by her husband who knew the truth, and then falsely accused of adultery. I only hope that the perpetrator will face severe consequences despite his strong background and Liu Mouxin’s reputation will be put to right amongst everyone who knows her.

    Thanks for the chapter! 😀

  2. She really had a miserable life yet an even miserable ending. If I were her, I would become a ghost too so that I can torture these disgusting, horrible people. No words can describe how much I despised everyone around her.
