Chapter 28: Sudden Death (Part 1)

When Shuhong Danyue left the living room, she still didn’t forget to bring the mobile phone which was broadcasting live.

She was afraid that when she opened the door of her son’s room, she would see something that she couldn’t bear psychologically.

After hurrying to the door of the second bedroom, she slapped the door a few times: “Xiao Peng, Xiao Peng, are you sleeping?”

After several consecutive shots, there was no sound in the bedroom, Shuhong Danyue was completely frightened, she grabbed the doorknob and pushed open the door violently.

Seeing the figure sitting in front of the computer desk with her back turned to her, she let go of her hanging heart: “Liu Xiaopeng! Why didn’t you answer me when you were not asleep?!”

The young man who vaguely heard his mother’s voice turned his head suddenly, and saw his mother standing at the door, and his body trembled with guilt.

He pulled off the earphones hanging from his ears and pressed down the laptop screen in front of him.

Just as he was about to get up, he didn’t know where he was, the muscles in his heart twitched violently, and he frowned in pain.

“I just didn’t hear it with headphones on…”

The young man dodged his gaze, with an uncomfortable expression on his face.

Suddenly he saw the tears and red and swollen eyes of Shuhong Danyue, and immediately frowned and shouted: “Mom, are you crying? Who bullied you, is it my aunt or grandma? What did they say? “

He knew that Shuzhong Danyue had always had a tough mind, and a polite and gentle personality, except when his grandparents and father passed away, he had never seen his mother shed tears.

Shuzhong Danyue remembered that she had just finished crying, her eyes were swollen. She tilted her head unnaturally.

But soon she came to her senses and looked at her son in shock: “You, how do you know your grandma and the others…”

She suddenly realized something, and her expression became angry: “Did they come to you and say something?”

The young man hung up his earphones and curled his lips: “What do you think? When we went there a few times ago, while you were cooking in the kitchen, they dragged me to talk nonsense. I told you not to go there again. Every time you go, they don’t give you a face, but you act like you don’t hear what they said.”

The comments in the live broadcast room were very lively:

[Hehe, this younger brother is quite handsome, but he is a bit too thin and looks like he is malnourished.]

[I was scared to death, I thought that when before, they dragged me to talk nonsense and opened the door, what I saw would be the dead body of my son, that was the scene of a suspenseful ghost story…]

[Although he pressed the screen down as soon as the camera flickered, with my excellent eyesight and familiarity with the game, I am sure that this kid was just playing ATG and practicing guns. Are all teenage kids vacant like this now, getting up early in the morning to practice guns?]

[Is this the child who suffered from a bloody disaster? His face was indeed a little pale.]

[Listening to what the son said, did his paternal family say the same thing to him that Shuzhong Danyue’s bad luck killed her family members? This kind of in-law family is too suffocating. Isn’t this separating the relationship between the child and the mother? And making the child hate his mother? Fortunately, the child is not naive, and his heart is towards his mother!]

Shuzhong Danyue never expected that her in-laws would not only talk bad things about her in front of outsiders behind their backs but also in front of her son!

No wonder, her son was very unhappy and impatient the first few times they went back. They even quarreled a few times because of this. The relationship between mother and child has been rigid since then.

She was still at the tip of the horns at the time, almost tacitly acquiescing that it was her fate that killed her family and husband. She felt ashamed in her heart and even tried to hold back a smile when facing the cold faces of her husband’s family.

How could she have thought that her son was protecting herself at that time?

Shuzhong Danyue”s eye sockets began to turn sour again.

She suddenly thought of something, walked up to Liu Xiaopeng, looked up and down nervously, thought for a while, and pointed the phone camera at her son’s whole body to shoot.

“Master Gu, take a look: What will happen to him?”

Liu Xiaopeng: “???”

“Mom, who are you talking to?”

Shuzhong Danyue said: “Don’t move around, I’m chatting with Master Gu of “Spiritual Affairs”, the master has calculated that you will have a big disaster this year. Just stand up and let the master see.”

“What, you’re broadcasting live now?” Liu Xiaopeng’s eyes widened in disbelief.

He walked over and took a look at his mother’s mobile phone screen, and saw a row of netizens greeting him, and there were nearly 500,000 online viewers!

Suddenly, his face flushed red.

Liu Xiaopeng was aware of the program “Spiritual Affairs”. After all, this program has become too popular recently. His classmates and circle of friends were all talking about the supernatural events and contestants in it, but he scoffs at it.

He has never believed that there were ghosts in this world. He was a firm scientific materialist. He never thought that his mother, who was a university professor, would believe in such things. She even joined with such a thing as a live broadcast with the program group!

As soon as he thought that his face and the slovenly image would be broadcasted and that his classmates and the girl he had a crush on could see him, Liu Xiaopeng felt ashamed and indignant and immediately yelled:

“Mom, are you crazy? You even believe in such lies. I think you have been brainwashed by my grandma!”

During this period, Liu Xiaopeng still felt very disturbed by the change in his mother.

She used to be such a proud and outstanding scientist, but she was brainwashed into believing that she was a broom star, and even went to the temple to ask for amulets.

Liu Xiaopeng believed that it was because of his mother’s mentality after his father died.

Gu Zhisang at the other end of the live broadcast heard the words, looked up, and said: “Little ghost, metaphysics is not a lie.”

“Everything has animism, every day there are souls from birth to death, where we come from and where we will go after death. This cycle is endless, this is the meaning of reincarnation.”

Liu Xiaopeng was ashamed and angry. His chest felt stuffy and painful. He thought that his ugly appearance must have been screenshotted by his bad friends
