Chapter 44: Refining Human Corpse (Part 1)

Hearing Gu Zhisang’s voice, although Geliao Chan didn’t know what a ‘meat relic’ was, she knew from her tone that it must be something difficult to deal with.

Holding the golden cup, she slowed down her flicking fingertips and pounced on the stiff golden Gu worm. As if the gu worm had sensed danger, it sprayed a cluster of light green poisonous mist from its tail, then turned towards the direction of Geliao Chan and fly back.

As soon as a thin layer of poison gas floated onto the stiff shoulders and face of the Mao Zombie, its stiff flesh directly corroded into powder.

Soon, bits and pieces of venom continued to spread, and the dead skin and flesh that even knives, guns, and fire charms couldn’t break through were burned and festered!

The Mao Zombie stiffened in pain and let out a hoarse growl.

Although the golden Gu worm had already flown back in time, it was still slapped hard by the five claws of the Mao Zombie.

Just when the zombie swung its arm again, trying to catch the Gu worm directly, a light flashed in Gu Zhisang’s eyes, and a white pawn popped out from her fingertips, hitting the Mao Zombie’s stiff throat hard.

A loud ‘bang’ sound of a hard object hitting the ground sounded. The chess piece with infinite strength made the Mao Zombie fly away and was smashed into the ground a few meters away.

After rolling a few times, it grabbed all fours and jumped up again.

The Mao zombie that has just taken shape already can judge. It scratched the ground with its sharp, curved nails full of corpse poison and bacteria like a wild beast, and there were bursts of threatening and nervous growls from its throat.

It can feel that Gu Zhisang was a dangerous person, and they wanted to escape.

During this period, the injured golden Gu worm wobbled back to Geliao Chan’s palm.

This worm was a Gu king bred from wrestling in the wormhole. It was as big as a baby’s fist. It was extremely poisonous, and its shell was as hard as iron.

Even if it was as highly poisonous as the snake or spider that was recorded in the book, it can only be swallowed if it encounters a strong enemy, but it was the natal Gu of Geliao Chan.

She has been feeding it herself since she was six years old and started feeding worms with blood essence at the age of twelve. For nearly two decades, she has already regarded it as her closest relative.

If the Gu worm was crushed by Mao Zong, she who was connected to it in the heart will also be severely injured and devastated!

Geliao Chan carefully held the wilted Gu worm, her face full of distress.

It was very strange to see that half of the Gu worm’s wings were melting;

Because of the insect injury, she was also affected to a certain extent, and her lips turned slightly pale.

She raised her head to look in Gu Zhisang’s direction, and said gratefully: “Sangsang, thank you for your help!”

“But this Mao Zombie is so weird, why can it hurt my Gu worm?”

Gu Zhisang explained the source of the meat relics stolen by the Feng Shui Master and then said:

“Gu worms like yin and bloodthirsty. They usually eat a lot of the same kind and yin things raw. Buddhist things are their nemesis. The meat relic pressed under the Mao Zombie’s stiff tongue contains the flesh and blood of the Living Buddha and ancient methods. Every day, it accepts pilgrimage and incense in the Buddhist temple, so it also contains the Buddha’s light, your Gu worms will be injured as long as the Mao Zombie touches it.”

Geliao Chan looked puzzled and couldn’t understand:

“But, that Mao Zombie is the first-class evil. Why can he swallow the Buddha’s relic?”

Gu Zhisang said quietly: “It’s because of the jade finger bone on its chest.”

After being tempered by the sky thunder, the jade finger bone was the quintessential magic weapon, which can suppress corpses and transform evil spirits.

The Feng Shui Master inlaid it on Mao Zombie’s chest, so to say, he used it to suppress the evil spirit on Mao Zombie’s body, so the Buddha relics would naturally not attack it.

Geliao Chan barely understood, but she still couldn’t understand what the Feng Shui Master was trying to do.

But Gu Zhisang already understood.

She asked: “Is your junior a pure yin body?”

Geliao Chan nodded and said: “Yes, she has a Yin constitution and a good talent. Not long after she was born, she was taken to the school by the old seniors in the village, and she learned the line of ‘raising corpses’.”

“Then it’s understandable, the fugitive did all these things to turn the Mao Zombie into a ‘human corpse’.”

“Human corpse?!”

Geliao Chan exclaimed, she had seen ‘human corpses’ in the ancient books of the Miao family, and it was a long-lost method of raising and refining corpses.

It was said that the former “corpse breeder” can make the dead body “come back to life” and regain consciousness and memory of life. Although it was a zombie, it can run, move, and talk like a living person.

But because the “human corpse” was against the sky, the conditions for raising it were very harsh, and it has long been lost.

Gu Zhisang looked at the Mao Zombie and drew out the mahogany sword carried behind her back: “A month ago, I broke this man’s fierce formation. He murdered his family and killed several members of his relatives. He also used the formation to steal luck. It stands to reason that once the formation is broken, he will be punished. It’s impossible for him to stand here alive and kicking.”

“Until I looked at the child’s corpse in the black coffin, its death was a backlash to death, and it was related to the fugitive by blood, I knew that this beast must have used his son to prevent the disaster. “

“And the most vicious thing about this person is that he knows from the beginning to the end that he is deeply sinful, and it is impossible to escape the punishment of the law. He gave birth to this child to find a furnace for himself so that when it’s time to be punished by God, he will immediately use this child’s body at the time of punishment!”

Gu Zhisang could see that the month, date, and even hour of the birth of the dead child were all carefully controlled by the Feng Shui Master, and it was the same birthdate as him.

Adding the fact that they were father and son, these conditions add up to a perfect furnace.

When the Feng Shui Master’s evil obstacles accumulate to the point where the law can’t bear them, he will send down lightning and directly struck him into burnt ashes.

At that time, he only needs to seize the parent and child relationship to wash away the previous karma and escape the punishment of the law.

No wonder he hated Gu Zhisang so much after the child died.

Gu Zhisang has ruined his ‘lifeline’.

It takes more time to cultivate such a suitable furnace, it takes at least three to five years, and at most ten years.

But the Feng Shui Master can feel that his punishment was imminent, so he may not be able to last that long.

He was driven to a desperate situation, so he came up with the idea of raising ‘human corpses’, thinking that if these Taoist Masters give him a way to survive, then he can’t make them feel better!

His ancestor was a well-known Feng Shui Master, and he had the powerful magic they had passed down, which made his skills far beyond that of ordinary profound masters.

According to the records of their ancestors, the famous Feng Shui Master of their family even built the imperial mausoleum!

There were also many feng shui mysteries recorded above, including the method of raising ‘human corpses’.

According to legend, the “human corpse” can ignore the laws of heaven and earth, and will not suffer retribution no matter what it does to the world. It was the best substitute to prevent disaster;

If he wanted to refine it, he must first prepare the relics of the living Buddha and find a way to melt into the corpse.
