Chapter 84: The Contestant’s Support (Part 1)

After the veteran fan spoke out, the members of the fan group became much calmer.

They all flocked to the account of the brokerage company signed by Gu Zhisang, hoping that the company could come forward to provide relevant public relations guidance to prevent the incident from further escalating and causing any adverse impact on Gu Zhisang.

However, fans have been tweeting for a long time, but the official account of the economic company has not responded.

It was only when the angry fans wanted to put the hashtag #Chengen Entertainment# on the hot search list that the company’s official account was belatedly released and an ambiguous blog post was posted.

Chengen Entertainment V: [Recently, many false remarks have been circulated on the Internet about our company and its artists. In this regard, our company would like to make the following clarification:

First, the company did not contact the network for the company’s artists. The relevant resources were independently participated by the artists and the contracts were signed. The company’s senior management was not involved in any process.

Secondly, our company has always adhered to the principle of moderate and reasonable packaging of celebrity images, and has not gone out of its way to package it.]

As soon as this blog post was published, it immediately attracted a lot of discussion from people all over the Internet.

It even made the fans who had been waiting for the Chengen Entertainment company to take responsibility and speak out for Gu Zhisang all dumbfounded.

Soon new entries were on the front row of hot searches, but they were not beneficial to Gu Zhisang.

[Hey guys, is this an artist under the Yin Yang banner of Chengen Entertainment? It seems that the relationship between Gu Zhisang and the company is not very good.]

[Translated, doesn’t this Chengen Entertainment mean: Gu Zhisang took the initiative to take on the variety show, she did package her character, but she did not use too much force. Unexpectedly, she was too greedy. She bought hot searches on the Internet and marketed herself as a master of metaphysics. So now that she overturned. It’s none of the company’s business.]

[It was so funny. It was the first time I saw a company beating an artist. I said, how could a person who had so many criminal records, had a big red name, and had a bad character suddenly change her character? She was just pretending.]

[It seems that Gu Zhisang is hated in the company. Her traffic momentum is so good now, and she is so popular that the company doesn’t even try to cover it up for her…]

[……]

Before fans could even react, they discovered that there was a wave of black material on the Internet claiming that Gu Zhisang’s character was faked, that she was involved in big sales marketing, etc.

To gain popularity and step on her, many marketing accounts and anti-fans spread rumors that are not true or false, and the more they spread, the more exaggerated they become.

Many of Gu Zhisang’s fans in the group entered the fan pit from the Internet two years ago. So they knew how bad the reputation of ‘Gu Zhisang’ was at that time.

But not many people immediately rebelled and ran away.

Who knows why, even though this woman was cold and indifferent, except for the scheduled live broadcasts and programs of “Spiritual Things”, there was very little material about her;

They just felt that Gu Zhisang was not as rumored said online.

Fans were just anxious.

The various groups were also buzzing with news, and there was some confusion.

‘What to do now? Can anyone contact Sangsang and ask her to clarify? ’

‘I don’t believe that Sangsang’s strength and kindness in the show are all staged. She was so good in acting, why she didn’t receive the best actress award?’

Many panicked fans sent private messages to Yan Cheng, asking him what to do.

However, they also know that it was difficult to find a big fan in this situation.

Yan Cheng, who had been paying attention to the big-eyed’s hot search, saw the blog post posted by Chengen Entertainment, and his slightly soft eyebrows instantly turned cold.

He was silent for a moment and called his secretary’s private line: “Help me find out if there is any conflict between Gu Zhisang and her agency, Chengen Entertainment, and see if any of the A-level partners are involved in the entertainment industry.”

The secretary who received a call in the evening on a rare occasion thought her boss had something big going on, but he didn’t expect that the person he had to check after answering was a female star in the entertainment industry.

To prevent misunderstanding, the secretary asked again. After confirming Yan Cheng’s answer, he hung up the phone with some confusion and started investigating.

Yan Cheng’s secretary worked very efficiently. He quickly collected a lot of information from multiple channels and sent it to Yan Cheng.

“Boss, I don’t know if there is any conflict between their company and Ms. Gu Zhisang. However, I found out that Ms. Gu Zhisang has signed a gambling agreement with Chengen Entertainment. As long as the goal of the agreement is not achieved, then Chengen Entertainment can renew the contract with Miss Gu Zhisang indefinitely, but now Miss Gu Zhisang’s popularity on the Internet is obviously up to standard and more than enough.”

The secretary said calmly: “In this case, Miss Gu has more initiative in her own hands as to whether she wants to renew her contract with Chengen Entertainment.

According to the information I found, the contract between the two parties will expire in more than a month. Now, Miss Gu has not signed a contract renewal with Chengen Entertainment. Many well-known entertainment companies in the industry want to contact her and hope to poach her.”

Yan Cheng only understood the first few sentences.

It was obvious that Gu Zhisang had not received good treatment at Chengen Entertainment before, so she didn’t want to renew her contract with Chengen Entertainment.

Her current size and popularity made Chengen Entertainment jealous, and they resented her for not renewing her contract, so Chengen Entertainment wanted to destroy the reputation and status she had worked so hard to build before she left.

Yan Cheng sneered in a low voice and continued to listen to the secretary:

“Among the current partners, the second son of the ‘Shengfang Group’ has bought shares in a well-known entertainment company and is now a shareholder.”

Yan Cheng’s eyebrows were indifferent, and he was already thinking about it as he looked at the message sent by his secretary.

The best way was to directly change Gu Zhisang to a brokerage company with good conditions and good knowledge.

But this would be too cheap for Chengen Entertainment.

Moreover, Yan Cheng also felt that Gu Zhisang was a very proud person and did not necessarily like outsiders to interfere in his private affairs.

Would she be unhappy if she knew she had taken matters into his own hands?

Yan Cheng, who was deep in thought, had seriously begun to consider the feasibility of ‘entering the entertainment industry and opening an entertainment company’ and ‘using commercial means to destroy Chengen Entertainment’… When the secretary’s voice was slightly surprised, he said: came out from the receiver:

“Boss, if you want to help Miss Gu Zhisang resolve the current public opinion crisis… I don’t think it’s necessary.”

Yan Cheng raised an eyebrow, and when he saw the newly trending entry, he understood what his secretary meant.

# The main criminals in the major trafficking case in the southern province were successfully arrested#

#The Provincial Police Station thanks the contestants of “Spiritual Affairs” and is especially grateful to Gu Zhisang#

#GuZhisang, Metaphysics Group#

Among the three new hot searches, they were all related to Gu Zhisang.

In the first two articles, the Central and South Provincial Police Department reported in concise language the gratifying results of the anti-crime and arrest operations these days.

Thanks to the unremitting efforts of the police, more than 300 trafficked women and children have been successfully reunited with their relatives and found their way home;

Among them, there were more than ten overseas victims.

The rest of the people were also investigating and making arrangements in an orderly manner.

At the end of the report, the police also tagged the accounts of the “Spiritual Affairs” program team and each contestant, thanking them for providing relevant transcripts and video evidence.

However, immediately after this long blog post, the Southern Provincial Police posted another separate one, tagging only Gu Zhisang’s account.

  1. I’m pretty sure Gu Zhisang won’t mind Yan Cheng somehow resolving the issue of her unfavorable contract, as it’ll save her the hassle of dealing with it. I just wonder if she’ll continue in the entertainment industry if her contract is solved, since she’s technically not an entertainer and is only concerned with her cultivation.

    Thanks for the chapter! 😀
