Chapter 23: Always by his side (Part 3)

“The so-called Taoist Sect’s righteous way has long been a joke, and it should be rectified.” Gu Zhisang raised her eyebrows and smiled, but her voice was cold: “Little devil, you think I am bad, but do you know what kind of trick your master is doing?”

She pointed to the short and fat old man, whose face was pale with fright, and said: “This man cheated on his wife and murdered her. He is not even as good as a pig or a dog, which causes his wife to stay in the world with resentment. After death, he will go to the 18th floor of hell. But he was more afraid of his wife’s revenge because of a guilty conscience. So he recruited a group of Taoist masters to deal with her, causing his wife’s soul to shatter, leaving only a little remnant to sustain itself.”

“But that’s not all, he is still not satisfied with it. He still wants to beat his wife to disappear. Such an unrighteous man. Your master knows what kind of person he is, but he still works together with him for the sake of profit, and helps him set up a formation to scatter that poor ghost’s soul.”

“Let me ask you, didn’t you read the taboos of the patriarch on the first day you entered the Taoist sect? Don’t you know that a Taoist Master can’t abuse his ability to engage in evil deeds?”

Under the disbelief of the Taoist boy, Gu Zhisang said coldly: “If anyone violates the ancestor’s early teachings, they should strip with their cultivation and be removed from the Taoist Sect, so what did I do wrong? Is your master worthy of sympathy?”

The Taoist boy hesitated and couldn’t speak, but there was no admiration in his eyes when he looked at the Old Taoist Priest.

Gu Zhisang waved her hand impatiently: “Okay, I’m a vicious and cruel evil cultivator, you two master and apprentice, go away quickly, don’t appear in my eyes here, and save me, a demon girl, from getting upset and killing someone in silence. You won’t have the chance to go back and report the news if that happens.”

With a sneer on her face, she said to the Old Taoist Priest: “You can call your master, and if one is not enough, you can call all your ancestors. This master has the right to clean up the Taoist Sect door.”

The Old Taoist Priest was already full of anger. Hearing this, he almost choked himself to death with a mouthful of blood. He had a face full of resentment, but he gritted his teeth got up, and walked out the door.

After the two left, Liu Jin asked in a trembling voice: “What do you mean by killing his wife?”

At this time, Father Liu, who was in the living room was already sweating. He shook his head repeatedly: “I am your father, Liu Jin, don’t, don’t listen to an outsider’s nonsense!”

“Oh, is that so.”

Gu Zhisang pulled the corner of her lower lip: “But from what I can see on your face, the two acupoints of the sun are completely sunken, accompanied by sores and ulcers. That is where the husband and wife palace is, and it has completely collapsed at this time, which means that your marriage ended in death and injury. Don’t you think that the red sores on the two acupoints are painful when touched, and accompanied by pustules bursting, it is not some acne because you didn’t rest well, but a ‘karma’.”

“Your hands are stained with karma, and this ‘karma’ is taking revenge on you. At first, it was just two acupoints, but it will spread further, and you will have red sores on the top of your head, forehead, and cheeks. It will not stop even after it ruptures.”

It was fine if she didn’t say anything, but when she talked about it, Father Liu felt his temples twitch. The sweat seeping out from his face slid from his red and swollen sores, which was unbearably painful!

Gu Zhisang added: “I see bruises and swells under your eyes, which is a sign of confusion in the male and female palace. It seems that you think you are handsome and rich, and you are often in romantic relationships. It’s a pity for your wife…”

“You villain just keep spitting blood! You’re making up nonsense! Liu Jin, don’t believe what she said!”

Liu Jin’s voice trembled, his fists clenched tightly, “Master, my mother… how did she die?!”

Gu Zhisang restrained her expression and said: “I know that the marriage between your mother and this man has existed in name only. She is only enduring it for your career and reputation. She is very proud, but what she cares about most in life is her children. How can she tolerate your prestigious reputation being stained by her failed marriage, so she would rather suppress her nausea and sleep in a separate room with this man…”

Speaking of this, Liu Jin was already in tears, unable to control her sobs: “Mom, it’s me…it’s all my fault!”

Gu Zhisang continued:

“That day your mother came home early because of something, but she broke the scene of this man’s cheating. If it was just that, she would only feel sick, but… this disgusting couple is looking for excitement and humiliating your mother. They rolled over on your mother’s bed. She stood outside the door, wanting to rush in, and scold them for being shameless.”

Yu Tongqiu, who had been listening to it all the time, felt disgusting like eating a fly just thinking about that scene.

She gritted her teeth and stared at the old man, who was sweating profusely: “How could you treat my Master like this? Are you still human?”

Gu Zhisang said: “Then, your mother suddenly heard them mentioning you, the only son she cared about. She heard how this couple plotted against you. It turns out that the two of them have been hanging out together for a long time. They had an illegitimate child for many years, and have been sneaking around in this family. Your father said that he would leave all the family property to his most precious youngest son, and under his name, he would let the youngest son join your film crew and play the leading role. They will use you as a springboard for his youngest son to enter the entertainment circle…”

Recalling these pictures and hearing these disgusting plots with his ears, Gu Zhisang was completely immersed in the wrath of the evil spirit at this moment, and she felt the same.

Then she heard her so-called husband say:

“Liu Jin is my son. He should listen to me in his career. A rebellious son who doesn’t know anything except filming. If he doesn’t get married, then won’t he cut off the incense of my Liu family? When he gets old, who will collect his body except for his youngest brother? So it’s only natural that these resources and properties be given to his brother!”

She couldn’t listen anymore, so she pushed open the door and rushed in, jumped at a couple of dogs, picked up something, beat and cursed at them, but was pushed to the ground hard.

“Damn you crazy woman, how dare you hit me in the face?”

She was in so much pain, her heart twitches like it was about to burst, but she wanted to tear the two bitches in front of it apart. She lacks oxygen, so she suddenly becomes ill. She doesn’t even have the strength to take the medicine.

The so-called husband saw this, so he said: “She has a heart attack, hurry up and get her medicine!”

“Husband, she saw and heard what was discussed just now, do you think she won’t tell this to Liu Jin when she gets better? He will drive you away by then! Our son has no future either!”

“What do you mean…?”

“Anyway, if you want to do something, I won’t stop you… …”

Soon the dog couple calmed down. They watched her curl up and struggle on the floor in pain and began to pack up the bed and put on the sheets to clean up the traces.

When only she was left in the room, pain, despair, and resentment filled her entire body. In the end, she died of pain within ten minutes of the onset.

Because she was worried about her child, afraid that he would not know anything would not be able to detect anything, and would be plotted against by that pair of dog men and women, she decided to become a ghost and stay in the world.

She wanted to remind her son to be careful, so it kept destroying her funeral, and stayed around him for a long time, refusing to leave.

Gu Zhisang opened her eyes and ended up narrating the past event.

Liu Jin was already squatting on the ground, weeping uncontrollably, hitting the ground one after another.

Father Liu, whose legs were weak, was covered in a cold sweat.

He was so frightened because this young lady recounted every detail of that day, the day he tried so hard to forget. Every word was detailed as if there was a fourth person there!

He was still shaking his head: “I didn’t, you can’t frame me without evidence!”

Gu Zhisang suddenly turned her head and looked at the old man intently, “Your wife is in this room now, do you want me to ask her to confront you?”

Father Liu’s brain buzzed, and a chill rushed straight to his forehead. He was so frightened by these words that his feet went limp, and he fell to the ground.

Liu Jin suddenly looked up: “Master, is my mother here? Is she here?!”

“Yes.” Gu Zhisang looked towards the middle-aged man whose face was flushed from crying. There was a gray cloud of a human figure behind him.

“She is afraid that something will happen to you, so she has always been by your side and guarding you.”
